The data shows that 81% of Canadian Zoomers will own a house in next 20 Years. So how they want their house to be?

Researches on Gen Z’s reveals that they want to own house in the diverse communities where they are welcomed not bullied. They want their house to be between $500,000 to $700,000 because of being already under debt with student loan of thousands of dollars. Being a digital generation, they want their houses to be tech savvy, have smart appliances, thermostat, security, smart kitchen and so on but all to be connected with speedy wireless network. They wouldn't resist a house with swimming pool, fitness space, work space, package collection service, package delivery to their door, pet-friendly, near to entertainment and shopping centers. They will not mind a pet hostel and child care center nearby to their locality. And who doesn’t want a discount so, Gen Z loves to get discount on everything!! You can add up customized physical space to suit their preference. Even if you want to rent houses to Gen Z there is easy way to make them your lessee just have a customized leasing agreement and update your house with few smart appliances and make it pet-friendly.

So how to make them your customer?

Generation Z are the majority of people on social media platforms. So, who would not love to see house listing on social media? So, the realtors should consider creating their websites and services social media and phone friendly. Zoomers doesn’t prefer to check out online ads or emails. Even data has revealed that 40% of young generation learn how to invest from TikTok. After the touch of pandemic now nearly every business has an online platform. Be ready to process all the transactions and home buying procedure online. 90% of Gen Z hunts for property via online platforms. You have to attract them to use your website to find properties. And remember it is not easy to fascinate them. You will have to show on your website real customers with their authentic customer experience review. They can sense a fake testimonial from a mile away. (Note: only 4% doesn’t want to own a house, so you have a big market available to sell houses or build for Gen Z).
