COMMERCIAL PROPERTY INVESTMENT HITS RECORD HIGH IN SECOND QUARTER
Investors have set a new annual record by transacting nearly $14 Billion in the market in Q2 and may post almost $50 Billion in Canada's Commercial Real Estate industry this year. The statistics have shattered the previous record of commercial real estate investment in Canada. Due to the ease of restrictions, the investors mushroomed with money to buy apartment buildings and warehouses, creating a surge in the market. Because of the boom in the e-commerce business, the demand for warehouses is rising. The commercial sector has the most robust underlying fundamentals that lead to 29.3% and 149.2% overflow of investment than Q1 2021 and last year, respectively.
Also, foreign investors accounted for 44.6% of investment in Q2 2021. This provides the Investors with a hope to stay optimistic about their profits and what lies next in Canadian Real Estate Industry.
