- Toogood Pond Park: Toogood Park is a beautifully landscaped city park with a special pond well known for Canadian Geese. This park stretches over an area of the 33.3-hectare park and contains a 0.7-mile long trail for hiking purposes.
- Markham GO Station: Built-in 1871, Markham GO Station is the city's oldest railway station. This station was designed in classic Canadian Railway Style and included the Vernacular-Carpenter Gothic style of architecture.
- Golf courses: The city has nine golf courses, of which four are private, and the remaining are public. The most prestigious one in the city is The York Downs Golf & Country Club, a member's only club with a complete dress code.
